"All About Horses" Day Camp
We have run a popular residential camp program since 1990. In December of 2005 Mary injured her spinal cord when a tree fell on her shoulder. She's back to riding and teaching and usual activities but has decided to cut back on the residential camp programs. As a result Wits End is now offering a summer day camp program.
- "All About Horses" Day Camp runs as a three day program (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) each week throughout July and August.
- Our main program is for 7 to 15 year olds.
- Campers are divided into age groups: 7-8, 9-12 and 13-15 as well as levels.
- Pre-registration is required.
- Hours: 9 to 5 daily. Flexible drop off and pick up times.
- Campers bring lunch and snacks.
- Riders must wear approved helmets and boots with heels which are supplied by the farm.
- Two hour-long lessons each day, plus a 1/2 hour practice ride.
- We have highly-qualified, experienced instructors.
- In
addition to riding, grooming and caring for the horses, daily
activities such as crafts and games all focus on horse related
themes that make learning fun. - Please contact us to request camp rates.
- Groups are small and closely supervised.

Residential
camp programs are
available throughout the school year.
Weekend, Winter Break, and March Break sessions offer a chance to experience
"real" life on the farm.
