The Smoothest Riding Horses In The World
(Pictures Coming Soon)
We are selling our farm and leaving the
country and I have 6 Peruvian’s for sale. These are natural gaited
horses (no bounce and no training needed to gait) great for older riders
or someone with back problems. They have a gait that goes on forever.
They are great for trail riding & endurance as they don’t tire as easy
as other horses. They love a challenge and would be great for Team Penning.
These horses live longer than most and are great riding horses well into
their 30’s. Very easy keepers, never been stalled. Unique personalities
as they can be kept in a “herd environment”, including mares, foals and
stallion. Vet, Dr. Liz Salmon, keeps commenting on the amazing
herd dynamics of these horses. All are up to date in their Vaccines
(including West Nile) and worming. Their hooves have been trimmed
the “Bare Foot Way” so no need for shoes. None of these horses have
any bad habits.
Antiguo, 1987 Black Stallion, registered
for breeding. Dual registered in Canada & U.S. Tig is a
real sweetheart. Dream to ride, very flashy, can be ridden by younger
riders, and you can run him in a herd environment with mares & foals.
Totally bomb proof, absolutely nothing fazes him. Can be ridden with
mares or other stallions. $3800.00
Valda, 1984 Liver Chestnut,
mare. Registered. This mare is the absolutely smoothest horse
you will ever ride. Go riding with your cup of coffee and never spill
a drop! She is very quiet and loving and would make a great beginner
horse. Totally bomb proof. Very pronounced termino (the flashy
leg action).
$2500.00
Especia, 1981, Black, mare.
Registered. Dam to Antiguo. Very easy keeper. Herd “Queen”.
Would make a good companion horse. She will also “babysit”
any new foals. She is totally tolerant of anything. Great mare to
teach very young riders on. $1000.00
Mariana, 2006, Dark Bay filly with
flashy blaze and sock. Will be registered. Daughter to Tig.
Mariana was orphaned at 8 hours old and hand raised. Always drank
milk (goat milk) from a bucket (so she is not nippy or obnoxious).
Socialized very well as she was “adopted” by her grandmother, Especia and
Tig her sire. Very easy to handle. She was gaiting at 3 hours after
birth. $2500.00
Deluce Cremello, 2006, Buckskin,
filly. Will be registered. Very rare colouring. Sire was a
Palomino. Absolute sweetheart, easy to handle. Gaiting right
after birth.
$2500.00
Flor De Cana, 2006, Chestnut, filly.
Will be registered. Cana is kind of shy, but with lots of handling will
make someone a lovely riding horse, Lots of “brio” . Nice gait.
$2500.00
Open to offers on whole herd.
Also, will have 2 Peruvian saddles with
full guarnicion, or tailpiece.
