SPEAKER NOTES

“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves.
Do what it says.

“Search To Find Ministries” has provided this section, Speaker Notes, in “My Journal For Life’s Journey” to take notes on the great speakers you hear every week at church, in conferences, or Bible studies. Have you ever heard someone say something and said to yourself, “Wow!, that thought will change my life.” However, by the time you got home (your car wouldn’t start and therefore the roast in the oven burned!) and you finally had time to think about what the speaker said that morning, you had forgotten that great thought! Now with “My Journal For Life’s Journey” you won’t forget! You now have a place to jot down these wonderful thoughts and ideas that speakers are presenting from God and their own life’s journey.

JOURNAL APPLICATION:

Start by praying for the speaker and the service you are in. Instead of spending the few minutes before the service looking at who is there and what they are wearing, spend that time praying for your friends, the speaker and the service. Ask God to clear your heart and mind, so that you can worship and focus your thoughts on Him. Take some notes while the speaker is speaking. It doesn’t have to be a lot. Sometimes only one thought will grab you. Write it down! Some churches provide short sketches or themes of the speaker’s topic. If so, use them and then use your hole punch to put your notes in your “My Journal For Life’s Journey.”
