Susan Gilmour

"SUSAN GILMOUR (Fantine)Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and a graduate of Edmonton Musical Theatre (EMT)
and of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA)
in New York City, Susan Gilmour has starred as Fantine in Les Misérables
in Toronto, throughout Canada, in New York, Los Angeles (Robby Award nomination), Singapore,
Hong Kong, Korea, South Africa and Alaska.
Susan has also starred in Man of La Mancha, Evita, Oliver!, Chess in Concert,
The Beggar's Opera, Anne of Green Gables, and appeared
in the Toronto production of Kiss of the Spiderwoman. She was a special guest
on the Gemini Award-winning CBC special
"Michael Burgess Live at Massey Hall," and her other film and television credits include
"Cowboys Don't Cry" and "Top Cops."

Susan performed last year in "Encore! The Best of 20 Years"
An evening of Broadway show-stoppers and some of the best singing,
dancing and musical theatre Edmonton has to offer was on the playbill of the
Edmonton Musical Theatre's 20th Anniversary spectacular,
Encore! The Best of 20 Years.
Of special note was the return of Edmonton Musical Theatre alumni
and international stars Susan Gilmour, Jennifer Pare and Danny Austin as guest performers.
