The Peterborough Fish & Game Association hosted a 10m running target air rifle match this weekend.

Stephen McKellar won Gold in Open Class with a slow run of 230 and a fast run of 193 for a total of 423. Gary Dennis took Silver with 225 slow and 172 fast for a total of 397. Glenn Baswick took Bronze with 182 slow, 164 fast, total 346.

The Junior Gold went to Jason McKellar with 165 slow, 201 fast, total 366. Silver to Jake scoffield with 83 slow, 118 fast, total 201. Melissa Morris was third with 123 slow, 43 fast, total 166 and Tim Smye was fourth with 94 slow, 34 fast, total 128.

Running Target is shot at 10m indoors on a moving target using a .177 air rifle equipped with a 4 power scope.. The target moves across a 2m opening in 5 seconds on the slow run and in 2.5 seconds on the fast run. The competitor has to shoot 15 shots each direction in both slow and fast runs for a total of 60 shots and a potential score of 600.
