"Wondrous is the Majesty of Our Queens.
With a soft word, do they inspire chivalry.
With a gentle smile, do they encourage courtesy.
With humble thanks, do they inspire a people's love"
This tournament is unique in that the Ladies of the Order of the Rose are the sponsors. A Rose Tournament provides a special opportunity to showcase many of the ideals of the society including honor, courtesy, and presence on the field. The wish is to encourage and endorse those fighters who aspire to the highest ideals of chivalry and courtesy on the field of honourable combat. We hope this tournament is a forum for great deeds of valor, courage and chivalry.
The Ladies of the Rose who are in attendance at the event and who chose to will be sponsoring 2 fighters (possibly more). Participation is limited to unbelted fighters.
Not only will a tourney victor win the day but the Ladies of the Order of the Rose will also be encouraging and recognizing fighters who demonstrate the chivalric virtues such as honor, humility, and courtesy, in addition to prowess.
The Roses as the sponsors and hosts for this tourney invite everyone to attend and witness the tournament and celebrate this demonstration of skill at arms with us.
