In the Society for Creative Anchronism or SCA, people adopt characteristics known to have existed within a period of medieval history of interest to them. In most cases, it is necessary (although not mandatory) to develop an alternative identity otherwise known as a persona.
This page is dedicated to my SCA activities and persona. He currently resides in the canton of Petrea Thule. I say he but actually my persona parents' only had one child who survived to adulthood - a girl. His parents raised him as a boy but she just can't act the part. Her real name is Kristina. However, everyone in Petrea Thule accepts and humours her despite her poor disguise because her parents are quite wealthy and powerful. The Thuligans tend to call her by the shorter name of Tina which is less sacriligious then referring to her by something similar to Christ's name. However, she will respond to Johanes, Kristina, Tina, or Cuno.
In the SCA, I became involved in the canton choir and archery. I'm no longer involved with the choir. However, I will be going back to the archery range. Paper making is another hobby I am trying to work into my busy schedule. Meanwhile, I enjoy making my own bread.
